Our Mission:
Specializing in the North American wine market, we aim to work intimately with our clients to procure, refine and aid in managing, organizing and curating of wine cellars. Utilizing our trusted network from well over a decade of experience in the industry, we secure wine and oversee the entire process to ensure the highest level of care is taken. All of our services are designed to help our clients meet their exact needs.
Sourcing:
We work closely with our clients to build a portfolio that best suits their needs and long term cellar goals. Our resources include private collections, wineries, and importers located throughout Canada and the United States. Maison du Vin has access to a broad network in both the private sector and wholesale market. As a result of our relationships, we are fortunate enough to receive allocations to some of the world's most sought after wines, as well as back vintages and library offerings.
Cellar Refinement & Optimization:
A well versed cellar means different things to every client. This is something very personal, we work to build a list that focuses on the producers and styles of wine that our clients enjoy most. We also help by determining which wines in your collection are ready for drinking, which wines are high risk, and also which wines are the most valuable.
Inventory and Reconciliation:
Knowing exactly what you have in your collection, and where everything is located is very important. We achieve this by providing you with a complete and thorough inventory of your cellar.
Appraisals:
There are a number of reasons for determining the value of your wine collection. Insurance, liquidation, or simply tracking the progress of your investment. We offer accurate appraisals based on current market value.
Events:
Our roots are in wine and food. Our in house Certified Sommeliers can help to plan and execute your next in home private event, organize food pairings, and plan a guided tasting of your wines. We also work closely with our large network of restaurant partners that would be happy to host your event.
Palate Consultations:
Not sure where to start? This consultation includes a 60 minute meeting with one of our Certified Sommeliers. We break down your palate by reviewing your current likes and dislikes, determining what it is you’re looking for in a wine. We will curate a list of wine styles you will enjoy, and provide you with some recommendations to help get you started. This consultation includes a 30 minute follow up appointment. Price: $250.00
